Kerrville and The Texas Hill Country

Kerrville, Texas is located in the Texas Hill Country, about an hour northwest of San Antonio, Texas, the nearest major city. The population of Kerrville is about 18,000, with roughly another 15,000 living in the surrounding hills and valleys. The climate here is mild, with a mean temperature of 62 degrees. It gets hot in August, but on the other hand, winters are very mild and snow is almost unheard of.
Crime rates are low, and the pace of life is generally laid-back and relaxing. Most people are pretty friendly in the Kerrville area, and there’s plenty of room to avoid the few who aren’t.
The natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country is astounding, and makes it very hard to leave once you get here. We love living here, and we think you will, too.
